Cross-country skiing
The Haut Giffre skiing area looks forward to welcoming skiers abilities on two magnificent sites
The Joux Plane site, opposite Mont Blanc at an altitude of 1700m:
Offering snow all year round, this high altitude site is ideally located with an outstanding view across Mont Blanc.
Discover 7 trails of between 1 and 8.5km in length.
Here you will find a reception office, a Nordic park, a specially laid out sledding slope and picnic tables.
The Fer à Cheval site and the Haut Giffre Valley :
A 10 km round trip taking in a breathtaking landscape, with the possibility to create any number of intermediate itineraries according to your tastes. Down in the valley, alongside the Giffre the gentle slopes will take you near the villages, through the forest, across the plain and around the lakes.

Samoëns is a listed resort directly linked(in just 8 minutes) to one of the finest French ski areas (the Grand Massif with its 265km of ski slopes.)
